About The Role

Bring your passion for Hair and Beauty to the classroom and help shape the next generation of stylists, barbers, and beauticians!

As a Skills Practitioner, you’ll be the creative force behind the scenes — supporting staff and students, inspiring confidence, and ensuring the salon runs as smoothly as a perfect blow-dry.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide hands-on learning and technical support to both staff and students in Hair, Barbering and Beauty environments.

  • Demonstrate and assist with professional salon techniques, helping learners master their craft and boost their confidence.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners, to maintain high-quality standards and opportunities for learners.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive, motivating feedback to support achievement and professional growth.

  • Take charge of salon stock control — ordering, organising, and issuing products and equipment to keep things running seamlessly.

  • Play a key role in maintaining high standards of Health & Safety within practical sessions.
