About The Role

Curriculum Lead – Health & Social Care 

Are you a qualified teacher ready to lead and inspire? We’re looking for a passionate educator to take the next step as a Curriculum Lead (Programme Director) in Health & Social Care / Employability.

This is a teaching-first role where you’ll bring creativity, organisation and energy to the classroom—delivering engaging lessons that challenge and support every learner. Alongside teaching, you’ll shape the curriculum, lead a small team, and help students build the skills they need for future careers.

What you’ll do:

  • Teach and assess Health & Social Care students, ensuring excellent learning experiences.
  • Lead curriculum planning and delivery, aligning with local skills needs.
  • Support learners of all abilities, tracking progress and driving success.

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Programme Director positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Employees can move up the salary scale once you have worked as a Programme Director for our group for one entire academic year, subject to approval. Therefore, internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
