 Your role as an Inclusive Learning Tutor will enable you to do just this!
 
You will be working within our Inclusive Learning department to support students from a variety of study programmes, ranging from sensory programmes to Level 3 qualifications. Your role will include providing small group support to learners who present a broad range of learning difficulties and disabilities to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.

Join a passionate team of Inclusive Learning Tutors and Learning Support Practitioners to co-create and deliver the dynamic Personal Social Achievement (PSA) programme.

In this role, you’ll plan and deliver engaging, targeted activities that support learners in achieving their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) outcomes and prepare them for adulthood.

You’ll be designing meaningful, hands-on sessions that promote progress across the four key areas of need:

  • Cognition and Learning

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health

  • Communication and Interaction

  • Physical and Sensory

About You

You will have a passion for overcoming barriers to learning! be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative sessions.
 

You will bring strong, demonstrable interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate even the most reluctant learners. Confident in assessing and tracking student progress, they’ll use this insight to plan meaningful interventions that drive real growth.

This is a vital part of the role — ensuring every student builds the skills and confidence they need to succeed not just in education, but in life.

Ideally you will have: 
 
  •  Experience teaching and supporting learners with a broad range of
    •  Learning difficulties
    • Disabilities
    • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
    • Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Experience planning dynamic, engaging, and targeted activities that:
    •  Promote independence
    • Develop key life skills
