About The Role

Train, Support and Assess within our internal Teacher Academy
 
EKC Group are seeking an inspiring TAQA IQA Assessor to work within our Teacher Academy Team to train, support and assess Level 4 IQA and Lead IQA trainees.
 
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing department to champion excellence in internal quality assurance, and to influence the development of skilled IQA practitioners across the Group. Through supportive role modelling, rigorous assessment and developmental feedback you will help trainees to embed the outstanding quality assurance skills needed to become effective leaders of internal quality processes.
 

You will bring current IQA expertise, a passion for developing others, and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality practice - empowering trainees to build confidence, competence and real impact in their roles.

Salary (pro rata): From £18,055 up to £19,205 per annum
Hours per week: 18.5
Working Pattern: 2.5 days throughout the week, which can be flexible and to be discussed (between 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday)
Location: Base at Canterbury College, with travel to all sites

About You

We are seeking to appoint a highly competent and organised individual who is able to assess learners on placement at a variety of organisations from across the sector. 
 
As an TAQA Assessor for EKC Group you will;
  • be be a qualified assessor and IQA holding Level 4 IQA Certificate or D33 / D34 equivalent
  • have 5 years experience of the IQA process
  • have knowledge of the Level 4 IQA qualification requirements
  • have Knowledge and experience of awarding body requirements and processes, preferably City and Guilds
  • have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
