About The Role

Shape Learning to the Learner, and Unlock Potential - Join us as Inclusive Learning Tutor
 
 As an Inclusive Learning Tutor at EKC Sheppey College, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Working across a range of learning environments, you will provide tailored support for learners with additional needs, ensuring they receive an inclusive, high-quality learning experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide targeted 1:1 support to learners
  • Plan and deliver engaging support activities linked to study programmes
  • Lead, support and supervise a team of Learning Support staff
  • Contribute to EHCP consultations and annual reviews
  • Support learners at Levels 2 and 3 to progress and succeed
  • Help shape inclusive practices through staff training and development

We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusive education, highly organised and committed to making a positive difference to students’ lives every day.

Hours per week: 13.5
Salary per year: £12,445

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about breaking down barriers to learning and helping every student thrive.

You will be creative, organised and confident in delivering engaging support that motivates learners to succeed. With strong interpersonal skills, you will build positive relationships with students, including those who may be reluctant to engage.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging support sessions for learners from Level 2 to Level 3
  • Assess, monitor and track student progress, identifying further support where needed
  • Motivate and inspire learners to achieve their potential
  • Lead and support a team of Learning Support staff
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Deliver tailored support within education or workplace settings

We welcome applicants with experience in teaching, training or providing 1:1 support, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience supporting individuals with additional learning and/or care needs would be an advantage.
