About The Role

EKC Group has exciting new positions available in our new 28-bedroom Yarrow Hotel. Facilities within this exciting project include a Spa and Salon along with a 64 seat Restaurant and Function space.

As a Kitchen Porter your responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties in kitchen and back of house areas as per cleaning schedule and to maintain a flow of clean cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils during service.

You will also maintain standards of personal hygiene and hygiene at work as per the Health & Safety at Work Act, Food Safety Act and Food Hygiene (General) regulations. Adhere to the Colleges guidelines for recruitment and on-going training.

About You

The Yarrow are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic kitchen porter. Each team member is expected to act as an Ambassador for The Yarrow delivering individualised and personalised services for business and leisure travellers.
 
Your task is to provide a personal, confident, conversational, direct and affirming service to make guests feel refreshed and recharged and want to return. You will have complete knowledge of your hotel and local area to ensure that our guests get the most out of their stay.

Previous experience of working in hospitality would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also have a flexible approach to work and be able to act on your own initiative.
