 The East Kent Colleges Group is home to three amazing nurseries serving students, staff, and the local community from our Broadstairs, Canterbury, and Folkestone College campuses, and thanks to our popularity, we're looking for a full-time Nursery Practitioner to complement our friendly Broadstairs team. About You

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioners who are committed to delivering exceptional care and education. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment.

You will:
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education with proven experience in a nursery environment

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS and its practical application

  • Take on the role of a key person, delivering high-quality early years education and care

  • Work in partnership with parents and carers to support each child’s development and wellbeing

  • Implement welfare and safeguarding requirements to the highest standards

  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues at all levels

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of child development and individual children’s needs

  • Apply health and safety knowledge to maintain a safe and nurturing environment

  • Promote equality, inclusion, and diversity in all aspects of practice

  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required
