About The Role

Are You an Organised Individual looking for Purposeful Work in Administration? Support the Student Experience as a College Services Assistant
 
As a College Services Assistant you will provide effective and efficient administration as part of the College Services team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the processing of enrolments, applications, exams and enquiries on the corporate data systems and to help with the operation of the Service Help Desk including reviewing the jobs logged, contacting the appropriate support service and the co-ordinating of pool vehicle bookings.
 
A critical part of this role is acting as the first point of contact on our front line reception for a minimum of 5.5 hours each Thursday, directing calls and visitors accordingly. 
 
Hours per week: 18.5
Salary per year: £12,405
Contract to: 24 December 2026

We are looking for you to bring your organisation skills, professionalism and customer focused approach to a busy and varied College Services role at the heart of the College.

In this role, you will:

  • Work in a busy open plan office, maintaining focus while answering calls and responding to queries

  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, students and external stakeholders

  • Support all incoming curriculum applications for the next academic year and current short courses

  • Assist with key college processes including reception, administration and timetabling

  • Support student enrolment, student records and examinations

  • Work accurately to tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities effectively
