As a Skills Practitioner in Plumbing and Heating at Canterbury college you will provide learning support to students in practical environmenton campus and at work placements. 
 
Other aspects of the role will be working with external suppliers to manage stock control of plumbing materials and placing orders. You will also prepare the planned equipment and tools for learner activities and undertake minor maintenance, routine and scheduled maintenance jobs within your classrooms and workshop areas.

About You

We are seeking to appoint an passionate, organised and efficient member to our team!

 What are we looking for

  • Recent industry experience in domestic Plumbing and Heating. 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can facilitate learners on tasks.
  • Provide practical demonstrations in the classroom. 

You will Ideally have experience of education or involvement in training in the workplace and be able to work with young people to achieve and succeed their full potential aligned with the culture and ethos of the Group.

 The successful candidate will have a key responsibility for Instilling and upholding strong Health & Safety standards in practical environments and will purchase resources and materials within budget.
