About You

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and able to plan and teach engaging and innovative online lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. The Employability lessons on the Digital Learn pathway are delivered through Microsoft Teams as our students are unable to attend physical lessons on campus for a variety of reasons. You will need to be innovative and highly engaging in order to effectively engage learners and assess and track their progress. Through a broad and customisable employability programme at Level 1/2, you will be expected to support learners with academic and social skills and provide them with a positive learning experience that raises their confidence levels and supports them with their next steps in education or the workplace.

Ideally you will have experience of teaching or have delivered training online although this isn't essential as training will be offered to the successful applicant. You must have a positive outlook, be empathetic towards learners and have strong class management skills. You can expect to work with some students who may have additional needs. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programmes and/ or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
